I had came across many requests on different platforms on how to register with freebasics.

So, i finally made up my mind to compose and publish this article because i thought it might be helpful.

As we all know that registering your blog with freebasics is another means of driving traffics to your blog, so it is necessary for you to register your blog with freebasics, but not compulsory, because it all depends on your choice, since their are requirements for it.

WHAT IS FREEBASICS?

Freebasics is a platform owned by Mark Zuckerberg of facebook, it was established on August 20, 2019 with the aim of connecting the world.

Freebasic official website is available for free without any data charges, and equally allow guest to visit few websites that has been registered under the service.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS BEFORE APPLYING FOR FREE BASICS?

Freebasics also has it own requirements just like Google Adsense, Here are some of their requirements.

1. You must own a Blog/Wapsite: you can’t just start applying for Freebasic when you don’t own a site.
2. Your Blog/Wapsite must not run on javascript: freebasic will never approve site that is currently running javascript.
3. Your Blog/Wapsite must not contain big files: Big files like videos, Apk files, axes files e.t.c can hinder freebasics from approving your blog/wapsite

STEPS ON HOW TO REGISTER WITH FREEBASICS.

Here are steps you need to follow before applying for freebasics.

1. Visit https://developers.facebook.com/docs/internet-org/gettingstarted
2. Submit your personal information like Name, Phone number, Email address connected to your facebook account e.t.c
3. Input your basic service details.
4. Imput your blog / wapsite name with the description which must not be more than 35 characters
5. Choose your primary language and equally select the country which you want to make your brand , if you wish. (optional)
6. That’s all.

Now you can submit your application and wait for approval, which normally takes some couple of days.

Make sure you go through their Privacy and Policy before applying for freebasics, as their might be other new policy which are not listed here.
