A Goat In The Midst Of Two Scape Goats – Man Credits Natasha Blast Bello and Obaseki

It’s no longer news that the Ibillo express road in Edo State has been in an extremely poor and alarming state for weeks now. Road users across social media platforms has been lamenting bitterly and expressing their displease at the poor state of the road and also calling on the Federal government and also the Edo State government to find a lasting solution to it.

News has it that Barr. Natasha Hadiza Akpoti, an indigene of Kogi State, a former Senatorial and Gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the 2019 elections, after an unending call by Nigerians on the government proved abortive, decided to swing into action, by constructing the one kilometer (1KM) and ensuring that the road is motorable and convenient for users once again. Ever since Barr. Natasha kick-started the construction of the road, rapid work has since been going on in the road.

In reaction to this, patriotic Nigerians has since then been calling out Barr. Natasha in appreciation for her kind gesture, towards ensuring that the Ibilo road becomes motorable once more. In reaction to this, patriotic Nigerians has since then been calling out Barr. Natasha in appreciation for her kind gesture, towards ensuring that the Ibillo road becomes motorable once more. Still in the quest to appreciate Barr. Natasha’s kind gesture, a Facebook user by name, Kola T Sam has taken to a Facebook Edo-based group “AKOKO-EDO FORUM” to appreciate Natasha’s effort towards ensuring Ibillo/Lampese road comes back to life. The young man proceeded to call out Gov. Godwin Obaseki of Edo State and Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, challenging them with the effort Natasha has put in place to ensure a motorable Ibilo/Lampese road. The Honourable Minister of Works and Housing of Nigeria, Babatunde Fashola wasn’t left out of the call-out.

In his words;

The beautiful lady on this post is Barr Natasha Akpoti from Kogi state who is presently rehabilitating Ibillo/Lampese/Okene/Abuja road. Presently she has mobilized equipment on site at Ibillo for a total rehabilitation work on our road in Akoko Edo even though she’s from Kogi state and not presently in any political office. In Kogi state she has over 20 already completed projects in her credit.

Meanwhile Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi and governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo have deliberately remained mute on the cry by the people over the worst condition of the road. Also our minister of works Mr Raji Fashola has since paid deaf ears to our cry.

Recently Hon Kabiru Adjoto and others made an eye service protest to the road just to make it look like he was actually a nice politician. Hon Peter Akpatason on his part played some financial role for palliative and also raised the issue on the floor of the house for urgent attention by the federal government. All these trials never gave any positive solution until our beautiful savior from Kogi arrived with equipments on the road for rehabilitation. Barr Natasha Akpoti may God bless you for helping us out ma. Akoko Edo is grateful ma.

Why calling out Gov. Yahaya Bello?

The Ibillo/Lampese road is the only major road that links Edo and Kogi State.

Tension In Kogi As Vigilante Kills Hotel Manager and 3 Others

Those two were reportedly shot dead at a night party by the power drunken men in Kogi Vigilantee Group, following their tyrannical dictatorship of their LG Boss in Adavi Local Government of Kogi state.

The report held that the following baseless Law from the Local Government clueless boss, earlier said nobody should held Night parties in the LG reasons unknown. Not even following the Covid19 protocols or anything of such.

This is totally unacceptable and inhumane, as I sadly sympathize with the families of the victims shot by the Vigilantee group to take faith and May Allah grant them heart to take this heavy pains, I also urged them to immediately seek justice through all Legal means to bring justice and a stop to such evil acts portrayed by the tyrannies in power.

We cannot further accept this ungodly acts, the Nigeria Police Force National Human Rights Commission should immediately investigate into this matter and bring justice to the victims.

All Public Officers should always be responsible and accountable in all ramifications and not proving otherwise.

RIP to the Deceased 💔

Sallah
On the special occasion of Sallah celebration, the former governorship candidate of Social Democratic Party in Kogi State, Barr. Natasha Hadiza Akpoti while felicitating with Muslims, sent message to Nigerian leaders across all tiers of authority to ensure they fulfil the trust entrusted with them by the people, citing the words of Prophet Muhammed (pbuh).

“I use this medium to urge Muslim and non-muslim leaders to practice the essence of religion by fulfilling trust and do not cheat the poor but imbibing humanity and selflessness into daily leadership activities.

Let them reflect on the words of Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) in at Tirmidhi 1264 where he says ‘fulfil the trust for the one who entrusted you and do not cheat the one who cheated you’.

They must also stop all manner of segregation that promotes inequality amongst ethnic groups, religion, and gender.

They must remember that Allah is all-knowing but will not hesitate to punish offenders especially those who take advantage of the poor and vulnerable.” Akpoti added.
