Crack In Kogi Govt House As New Chief Of Staff, Deputy Gov Fight Dirty

There is a heavy crack in Kogi state government house as Mr. Edward Onoja and Mr. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku the new Chief of Staff fight dirty over sharing of campaign cars.

Jamiu, who was Director-General of Protocol, replaces Edward Onoja House who is now Kogi Deputy Governor.

Insider source who did not want his name mentioned, told MAWA Foundation that the fight between the two broke out over the sharing of campaign cars.

Onoja who made attempt to direct the Chief of staff on how to share the campaign cars was turned down by Jamiu who told him, he cannot give him orders on what to do.

He reminded Onoja that he is not answerable to him, but the governor.

A development that degenerated into crisis between the two.

Since then, the chief of staff has been shielding Onoja from having full access to the Yahaya Bello, the state governor as he used to when serving as the chief of staff.

Mr. Audu, who has detail information about the fight between the two, told MAWA, the agenda is to cut Edward to pieces and reduce his influence.

A close ally of Onoja who spoke to MAWA, said Onoja is regretting leaving Chief of staff position for Deputy Governor.

He pointed out that Onoja has lost his huge influence since he left his office to take over the position of deputy governor.

A situation Onoja is not comfortable about and has since started regretting his action.

This week, it seems it’s not going to be so, as a well known musician from Kogi Central by name Tenimu popularly known as 2Rich has come out boldy to call out Kogi Commissioner for Works Hon. Engr. Abubakar Ohere for attempting to snatch his wife by name, Zuleihat, from him in a recent video.

In his words;

“Hon. Ohere, I once told you that I don’t bootlick people and I’m not a social media person, but any day that I’ll get provoked and use social media platform to address any issue, e’go shock everybody”

According to him, scores of people has been calling his wife to have a rethink and and embrace the Commissioner’s offer, as her husband, 2Rich have little or nothing to offer, he said;

“I want to sound a warning to all those that have been calling my wife, I don’t know who has been giving y’all my wife’s number”. He proceeded by saying; “you said she should move out of my house, you want to marry her, what do I have to offer her? Your wealth, your position and affluence, you have possessed all these and you asked her out, but she declined”.

At the end, he said; “I have paid her bride price, I have married her”.
