Federal university staff, Lokoja celebrated the exit of Vice Chancellor with obituary posters

The staff of Federal University Lokoja has bidden a farewell to their Vice Chancellor, Prof. Angella Miri Freeman, in a shocking way.

The staff took to the streets of the Adankolo campus yesterday, Friday 12, to sweep and rejoice in a dramatic farewell.

According to reports, the staff said they were out to sweep out the bad fortune and corruption that had afflicted the school in the last five years.

They narrated that the Vice chancellor is the worst they expect to see going forward especially as the incoming VC is reputed to be a very serious academic who is not given to irresponsibility.

In a photo making ground online, the staff could be seen wildly celebrating the exit of the Vice Chancellor as they made an “obituary” poster of Prof. Miri, which was poster round the school.

The viral obituary poster was written;

“Transition to hell, with gratitude to God we announce the successful passing in to hell of a tyranny personified.”

An unidentified man has called for the dethronement of Oba of Lagos, for being unable to retrieve the original staff of office stolen by thugs from the palace.

He also placed N10million bounty for whoever returns the staff.

This comes after reports went viral, alleging that the staff has been found.Recall, some days ago, a video showing the supposed staff in a scattered apartment, after curses were placed went viral.

However, in a new video, a man promised that anyone who can return the staff of office will be rewarded with the sum of N10million.

He also made some heavy allegations.

Angry Youths Protest Over Mysterious “Disappearance Of Manhood” In Benue Community

Youths in Daudu community, Guma Local Government Area of Benue State on Sunday, November 1, staged a protest over alleged incessant disappearance of manhood in the village.

According to reports, manhood of seven men so far, have allegedly mysteriously disappeared in the community. A young man allegedly committed suicide on October 11, after he was accused of stealing another’s genital.

The protest which started at the Daudu main market led to a traffic gridlock on the Makurdi-Lafia highway for hours before police arrived and dispersed the crowd.

The acting traditional ruler of the community, Chief Chado Oliver (acting Tyoor of Daudu) said when the matter was reported to him, he told them to bring a victim so he could confirm their claims, but they haven’t done so.

Meanwhile, spokesperson of the State Police Command, DSP Catherine Anene said she is not aware of any disappearance of manhood.
